Create a forecast market

Anyone can list a forecast market. You post a 250 USDC creation bond and seed the pool; the bond comes back when the market resolves to a real answer.

Market type

Price markets resolve from a price feed, so they settle fast and rarely get disputed. Use a custom question for everything else.

Price and ranges

Each boundary splits the price into ranges, one outcome per range. A price exactly on a boundary counts toward the higher range.

Price boundaries (USD)
One boundary makes a Yes/No “at or above” market. Up to 7 boundaries (8 outcomes).

What will BTC/USD be on 15 Oct 2026, 20:00 UTC?

Resolves on the CoinGecko BTC/USD price at 15 Oct 2026, 20:00 UTC. The price falls in exactly one range. A price equal to a boundary counts toward the higher range. The answer bot posts the first answer from the feed; anyone can challenge it with a bond.

Answered by the price bot. The oracle is the bot (0x8F3b…d165), which posts the first answer from CoinGecko once the price time passes. Bonds, challenges and arbitration work as usual.
Market metadata

Pinned to IPFS when you create the market. The contract stores only its sha256 hash, and the IPFS address is rebuilt from that hash.

Timing

Trading stops at close. Then anyone can post an answer with a bond; each answer stands unless challenged within the challenge window.

Arbitrator

Answers are settled by escalating bonds on Reality.eth. Once a bond reaches min(8× the opening bond, 5,000 USDC), anyone can pay the arbitrator to make the final call.

Fees and liquidity

Every trade pays the LP fee to liquidity providers and the creator fee to you. The protocol takes nothing.
